1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, uploading documents, or subscribing to Green Citation (https://greencitation.co.uk), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Description of Service
Green Citation is a B2B SaaS platform that uses automated data extraction technology to help UK businesses categorize and organize Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data from uploaded PDFs.
3. Subscription Plans and Fees
SME Plan (£49/mo), Bookkeeper Plan (£299/mo, 10-license block), and the Scope 3 Light add-on (£20/mo) are billed on a recurring monthly subscription via Stripe.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal.
Payments are non-refundable once processed, except where a payment was taken in error on our part, for example, a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount, in which case we will refund the affected payment promptly once identified or reported to us.
4. Consumer Rights
Green Citation is a business-to-business (B2B) service. As all customers use the service for business purposes, statutory consumer cancellation rights, such as the 14-day cooling-off period under UK consumer protection law, do not apply. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe billing portal, with no minimum term and no lock-in.
5. Payment Security
All payment card details are processed and stored entirely by Stripe, our payment provider, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified, the highest level of payment security certification. Green Citation never receives, processes, or stores your card details directly.

7. Acceptable Use and Data Handling
You guarantee that you have the legal right to upload the documents you provide, and that they do not contain harmful code or malicious content. Green Citation does not retain, store, or claim any ownership over your uploaded documents, they are processed in memory to extract the relevant figures, then permanently deleted. 8. Limitation of Liability
Green Citation provides automated data formatting and extraction tools to assist with sustainability reporting. While our system uses data processing technology, our reports do not constitute official financial, legal, or certified environmental auditing advice. The final accuracy of all compliance filings and tender submissions remains the sole responsibility of the business owner or user. Green Citation shall not be liable for any regulatory fines, lost contracts, or business disruption.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect changes in our service or upcoming UK legislation. Continued use of the platform implies acceptance of any updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
